Custom Metal Stamping
Boxiang reviews your drawings for custom metal stamping, with automatic-feed 630T and 315T presses at its Sihui factory in Guangdong.
Die development and supporting operations can be considered together to define a suitable route for your part.
Include material, thickness and quantity if available.

Stamping and tooling capabilities in Sihui, Guangdong.

630T stamping press
Automatic coil feeding supports stamping production. Material, geometry and tolerances are reviewed for each drawing before the process is confirmed.

In-house tooling
Tool development, trials, adjustment and production maintenance are handled in-house. Sample approval criteria and inspection requirements are agreed for each project.
How we review a stamped part
The drawing and production conditions guide the process review. Press capacity alone does not establish whether a part can be made.
Material and forming
The specified grade and thickness are considered with the formed geometry. If a material alternative is proposed, it needs agreement before the drawing or process changes.
Edges and burr direction
Identify edges that contact a mating part, cable or handled surface. The required burr direction and edge condition help define tooling and any secondary operation.
An existing die
Die photographs, condition records and the original press details support a compatibility review. Reuse or modification must be assessed before an existing die is accepted.
What to confirm before ordering
- Specify material grade, thickness and required surface finish.
- Mark critical dimensions, tolerances and acceptable burr direction.
- Share order quantity and expected repeat demand for tooling review.
Make your stamping quotation easier to compare
Separate one-time tooling from the cost of each part, and make the same requirements clear to every supplier.
- Tooling and order quantities
- Send the latest drawing revision, material grade and thickness, first-order quantity and likely repeat volume. Ask for tooling charges and unit prices to be listed separately.
- Operations and finish
- Identify tapping, welding, deburring and surface treatment requirements. Confirm which operations, inspection records and material documents the quotation includes.
- Packing and delivery basis
- Share the destination, packing or corrosion-protection needs and requested delivery date. Confirm the delivery terms, freight scope and any excluded costs before comparing offers.
These are points to review together. Prices, tooling terms and acceptance criteria are confirmed for your project.

Common questions
What is needed for a quotation?
Send a dimensioned drawing, material specification, quantity and finish requirements. A 3D model helps explain complex geometry.
What tolerances and lead times are available?
These depend on the part, material and tooling. Request a drawing review to confirm feasibility, tolerances and timing for your order.
Should I send a 2D drawing or a 3D model?
Send the dimensioned 2D drawing with its revision, tolerances and material specification. Add a 3D model when available to clarify formed features; it does not replace the drawing's acceptance requirements.
What if a stamping die already exists?
Include its drawings or photographs, condition and the press used with it. Compatibility, inspection needs and any changes must be reviewed before an existing die can be accepted for production.
