BOXIANG / BUYER RESOURCE / QUOTE COMPARISON
Compare custom metal part quotations
Put the same drawing, quantity and scope beside each quotation. This working sheet helps purchasing and engineering teams identify what is included and what still needs an answer.
Editable CSV · free direct download · no email required
This is a blank comparison template, not a quotation from Boxiang. Price, feasibility and delivery terms are confirmed for each project.
Use it with the quotations you receive
Write down your required drawing revision, material and quantity before copying in supplier details.
Keep one-time charges separate from unit prices. Mark missing information as “Not stated” instead of assuming it is included.
Ask about differences in scope before comparing totals. Leave another supplier’s confidential details in your own records.
12 points to put side by side
The download has spaces for your requirement, three suppliers and open questions. Use the points below to complete it.
- Drawing and revision
- Part number, drawing revision and any agreed changes. Confirm that each quotation refers to the same version.
- Material and thickness
- Material specification, thickness and any permitted alternative. Record substitutions that still need approval.
- Quantities and batches
- First order, repeat batch size and the quantity behind each price. Keep forecasts separate from committed orders.
- Operations and finish
- Forming, tapping, welding, deburring and surface treatment, where required. Record what is included or excluded.
- Tooling and other one-time charges
- Tool, fixture and setup charges, their currency and any separate sample charge. Do not combine them with the recurring unit price.
- Tool ownership and upkeep
- Ownership, storage, maintenance responsibilities and transfer terms. Record the terms agreed for this project.
- Unit price and currency
- Price per part, currency, quoted quantity and any price breaks. Confirm which operations the unit price covers.
- Inspection and acceptance
- Critical dimensions, acceptance criteria, measurement methods and required records or material documents.
- Samples and production approval
- Sample quantity, approval steps and who authorizes production. Clarify what happens if a sample needs changes.
- Packing and delivery scope
- Packing requirements, delivery term and named place. Record freight, taxes, duties and other stated inclusions or exclusions.
- Timing and its starting point
- Quoted sample and production timing, and whether it starts after drawing approval, payment, material arrival or another agreed event.
- Payment and quote validity
- Payment milestones, quotation expiry and the conditions that require a revised quote.
